Cross-Chain & Interoperability

Refract is designed with cross-chain interoperability at its core, enabling yield-bearing assets minted on Solana to flow freely across ecosystems. Through integration with generalized messaging layers like LayerZero and token bridges like Wormhole, Refract allows branded LSTs (e.g., pxJITO, pxMNDE, pxBLZE) to be securely transferred and utilized in non-Solana environments.

Bridging Branded LSTs Each LST minted through Refract is compatible with cross-chain bridging standards. When bridged, they retain their underlying strategy metadata, allowing protocols on other chains to distinguish between different sources of Solana-native yield. This enhances transparency and enables granular use of pxLSTs in multi-chain lending, LPs, or reward distribution.

Origin-Linked Yield Flows By preserving the strategy ID and yield source data on-chain, bridged LSTs maintain verifiability of where the underlying SOL is staked. This opens the door for advanced yield routing, synthetic derivatives, or structured products that rely on accurate source-linked asset backing — even across chains.

DeFi Interoperability Refract-branded LSTs can be used as building blocks in ecosystems like Ethereum, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and others — enabling liquidity providers, treasuries, and vaults to access Solana-based yield without needing to interact directly with the Solana network.

Programmable Cross-Chain Logic Future iterations of Refract will support programmable messaging standards (e.g., LayerZero’s OFT) to enable dynamic interactions between chains, such as remote unbonding, reward claims, or strategy migration without leaving the destination chain.

By bridging native yield to where liquidity lives, Refract expands Solana’s reach and establishes itself as the yield conduit between chains. This unlocks global composability and positions Refract as a critical bridge between Solana’s performance and the broader multichain DeFi economy.
